JEE Main 2026 – Understanding the Exam Pattern
- Paper 1: B.E./B.Tech → Physics + Chemistry + Maths
- Paper 2A: B.Arch → Maths + Aptitude + Drawing
- Paper 2B: B.Planning → Maths + Aptitude + Planning
Marking: +4 for correct, -1 for wrong answer
The exam is mostly computer-based, except the Drawing test, which is offline. Each paper lasts around 3 to 3.5 hours.
Remember, each correct answer fetches 4 marks, and each wrong answer deducts 1 mark, except the drawing test which has no negative marking.
